There once was a boy named Mike, Who loved to go on a bike hike.

He'd pedal and glide and ring his bell, And sometimes even stop for a caramel.

One day, Mike saw a squirrel in a tree, Who said, "Why don't you climb up here with me?"

Mike thought it sounded like a fun idea, So he parked his bike and climbed without any fear.

He climbed and climbed up the tree, But soon realized that he couldn't see.

He looked down and saw his bike on the ground, And thought, "Oh no, how will I get down?"

He called for help and soon enough, His friends came by and gave a big huff.

They helped him down and he realized, That sometimes adventures can be disguised.

So Mike went back to his bike with a smile, And pedaled and glided for a good mile.

He learned that sometimes it's best to stick to the norm, And that adventures can sometimes cause a storm.

So if you see a boy on a bike hike, Pedaling and gliding and feeling like a spike,

Just remember that adventure is grand, But sometimes it's best to keep your feet on the land!
