A couple weeks ago, we took a trip to Thermopolis, Wyoming, - a place with a famous mineral hot spring. But first, we had to get there.
In Wyoming, a two-hour road journey is nothing - and goes through a lot of nothing (except stunning landscape.)
The Wind River Canyon is a spectacular feature located between Shoshoni and Thermopolis, it winds through the Wind River Indian Reservation and marks the change between the Wind River and the Bighorn River at the northern end just before you get to Thermopolis.
Here are some pictures I took in the canyon.
