Ayres Natural Bridge, part 1 - Wondrous Wyoming

A couple of weeks ago, we took the Sunday and went for a drive to a site of natural beauty - Ayres Natural Bridge. Apparently, this place was visited by many on the Oregon Trail (only about a mile north of the bridge), very possibly including some of my ancestors. Read more on Wikipedia.

Here are a few pictures that I took there.

The natural bridge spans LaPrele Creek which makes for a number of stunning pictures.

Just for reference, that's a normal-sized park bench there!

My husband and two daughters give you an idea of just how far up there they are! (And my husband is an acrophobe.)

Next time, I will share with you some of the images I took on top...
