Turning basic into epic #3 - Running Session

By PierreL | My Work | 17 Mar 2020

For those of you who don't know me, I'm a videographer, and one of the things I like doing the most is filming very basic everyday life scenes in the most epic way possible.

Still working on in-camera transitions in this video, following a man on his daily run. I also had a lot of work in post-production with this video, as I shot this with multiple cameras and on different days, but it had to stay visually consistent throughout the video. The last shot is the one that demanded the most work. We originally wanted to shoot it at night, but it never came close to good-looking, so I decided to shoot the entire last scene during the day and fix it in post. Darken the highlights, dim the shadows, give it a very cold, blue color and add some "light" in the lamp post and the house behind to make it look more realistic. And, as always in the video industry, the sound design helps selling it.

I hope you like it!
