On October 6th, 2020 Block.one released a report stated that Google Cloud is joining with the EOS community and taking all the steps to become a Block Producer in EOS Network (EOSIO BLOCKCHAIN).
Google cloud's Developer Advocate Allen Day, stated that Google cloud is starting the process of Becoming a Block Producer Candidate in EOS Network.

Bank of Japan stated that they will start the Testing phase on Central Bank Digital Currency in the Fiscal Year 2021.They also Stated that there is no plans right now to issue CBDC. The Testing's will be done in Three stages.
