The end of warmth

In some parts of the world (at least in the Northern hemisphere), there is still plenty of sun, and summer refuses to go. But in others, rain has taken over, and you freeze outside without warm clothes and a jacket.

Tulips are spring flowers, but the feeling of the drying and falling-off petals suits the end of summer better than the end of spring, right? 😁 Who is sad that spring is over, after all...

I processed the photos a bit too heavily, but the original ones were pretty bland and lifeless. I like strong contrast, as you can see, especially in the second photo, where the top left just clips to black.
