Africa has potential to become a strong environment to cryptocurrency and Blockchain, due to it's population and the desire to become financial independent where most, are young, but the continent still have places that never heard a word about Bitcoin or Blockchain.
That can sounds fun, but it's a complete reality in a Continent of almost 1.3 billion people, with more than 50 countries, and where many of them doesn't use a Bank account to store value, but using e-money wallets provided by mobile network providers.
Crypto in Africa, or in the principals places where it's negotiated, only knows BTC or ETH and mostly tokens are unknown.
There are hotspots to find Young's who actually, know something about crypto such as South Africa_ as one of the most prominent countries in the world, the society is advanced and looks more to investments and to hold different kind of assets, not mentioning that they have economic power to do that;
Nigeria one of more Trending countries when we talk about crypto and Blockchain Technology in Africa, the young people here is so involved with the tech, that the country is becoming a reference in the world of Cryptocurrency and the knowledge of course is good in the matter.
I can count some more Countries, involved in crypto and Blockchain, such as Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Ghana... but the problem of literacy and knowledge in Cryptocurrency and Blockchain will remain higher.
If you noted, I counted almost 6 countries but there's more than 40 that are not in the crypto radar and Blockchain, but all of them share one thing in common, all the African societies doesn't (majority) store money in Banks, are unbaked, and this is a excellent environment to develop a strong crypto community, only needs Literacy in the theme!
