Lately many states are creating regulations and licenses to crypto related business, and one example is Singapore, where the the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), announced that the payment law is now effective.
The Payment Services Act was firstly filled for application in 2019, and after several analyze the proposal law now is live and will demand all crypto related business to be registered and with license issued by MAS for all firms operating in the country.
The approved law is intended to regulate digital payments made with token or virtual coins and will cover all firms and exchanges related with crypto, meaning all of those business will have to comply with anti-money laundering AML and counter financing terrorism CFT policies.
