It's always a surprise to me when a news comes involving Petro (PTR), the Venezuela centralized national cryptocurrency, that now with authorization from their country Leader Nicolas Maduro, will be used at a Casino in the Hotel Humbolt in Caracas.
The Casino will work exclusively using Petro (PTR) and the revenue generated from the business will be used in "social causes", not defined which ones or to start when.
The Petro (PTR) is a controversal cryptocurrency from the Venezuelan government that is supposed to be pegged to barrels of crude, that are still stored in uncertain locations and widely promoted by the President Maduro.
Recently the Government of the country leaded by Maduro announced that will sell their Oil and some of their Gold in Petro, also demanded that the Airlines Companies must purchase their fuel using Petro.
It's a coin that still dubious, and this appealing of the Government make it sounds like we are dealing with are scam crypto with obscure purposes.
