Former MakerDAO contributor Donates $1.38 Million for research in DeFi.

MakerDAO former contributor Nikolai Mushegian donated $1.38 Millions in MKR tokens (3200 MKR) To the Carnegie Mellon University (CMU),where the amount will be used to set up research in DeFi protocols and Descentralized DApps.

Mushegian also compromised to donate another 6800 MKR Tokens,in about 1-3 years, to the University as he believes the Descentralized Finance (DeFi) protocols will replace one day the backbone of the world economics system.

The funds donated will be used to sponsor research of Masters and pH.D. students that will contribute for Developments for the DeFi protocols.

MakerDAO Foundation is the entity behind the DAI descentralized stablecoin bringing innovation to the Finances In the Crypto space,as you can use the Multi collateral DAI to ask for a Loan.

MakerDAO also is investing a lot in expansion to get more exposure to their projects across the globe promoting their DAI savings rate program also their DAI stablecoin.
