Nimbus Project received a grant of $650,000 from the Ethereum foundation to continue their work in the development of the Ethereum 2.0 infrastructure, that will be the major protocol update in the Ethereum Network.
The project was founded in two thousand and eighteen is working on the ETH 2.0 and in 2019 opened the first testnet. Nimbus was first funded by the Ethereum Foundation in 2018 as the commitment in their Scalability Research and Development Subsidy Program, and agreement will end when the Nimbus receive a total of $1.65 Million from Ethereum.
The capital invested could be used to, contact more personal staff to help the Firm develop their project and experiments, using that funds to Target specific technical staff as Engineers.
It's important to the Blockchain network to stay up to date to avoid, attacks and breaches to their Infrastructure that could result in a catastrophic events happening in the Blockchain as a whole.
This major investment is proven to be a fight from Ethereum Foundation to make their Ecosystem one of the best networks available and avoid attacks that could be prejudicial from the ecosystem.
