During those tough times, everything appears to never come to an end. It may be a poor outcome, a mistake, a fight, financial issues, loss, or simply being confused; such things take over our mind and become all-consuming.
It's hard to think about oneself reviewing this event calmly and objectively in the future when it happens at the present time.
But time moves on, and we have no option but to keep up with it.
Try to remember any troubles you've faced several years ago. It most likely seemed like a very serious matter for you back then. Nowadays, however, some of these problems may not matter to you at all.
You have grown, your environment has changed, and there are new things in your life now.
It does not mean that the problems you face today are not real or significant in any way. The thing is, they may cause you distress and annoyance, some days may actually be very tough.
They are still just one aspect of your existence, nevertheless.
We always want those hard times to vanish away as quickly as possible. We want to have an instant solution, we want things to return to their normalcy, and we want to know when everything would be alright.
But in some cases, it doesn't happen like that. In some cases, there's just no instant solution, but time will do.
And while we are waiting for things to get better, we ourselves change.
The person facing problems today won't remain the same person tomorrow. You'll learn things, meet different people, create different memories, and view situations differently.
You will find solutions to many problems, and others will just get irrelevant after some time.
This is an important thing to remember whenever you feel like life is becoming too much.
It's not about how your life should turn out in the end, it's all about continuing in whatever path you are going through right now.
Because some day in the future, everything happening now will turn into memories.
And you might be surprised at where you have reached till then.
