One of the most annoying situation you can get when in a battle is when you got the advantage in killing your opponent yet you loose because you cannot hit hit them.

For me really, one of the most challenging battles on Splinterlands are those 13 Mana Battles. This are those where you would have to use your strategies well, and guts :) on whether you will use your biggest guy and hope he could bring the win for you or you will trust your little guys' power

In this battle we chose to use our small mana cards

At first look, I thought I got the advantage for I have more cards than them. But as their Antoid Platoon starts to scavenge life, that's when I started to think I am on the downside of the battle

Coz even though my Screeching Vulture scavenge life, their Antoid Platoon has the advantage of having a shield making my attack half to 1 while it has 3 attack power to easily eat up my monster's scavenged life

BUT WAIT!!! My card is a flyer :) And RNG is in my favor! Antoid Platoon missed 80% of the time giving me my sweet win 😘

Oh how I imagined how pissed off my opponent seeing this 😝
