One characteristics of Death deck is that it is a defensive team.
Except with the promo card Waka Spiritblade which gives poison and the Beta epic card Jarlax the Undead which doesn't have any add skills, all death summoners gives debuffs providing less attack or counter to the skills of the other team.

Now that Mage are mostly the meta or the cards people are using, here is one team to defend yourself from them and make them kill themselves and give you the win

In this battle my opponents used a full Magic team

I have seen them using magic a lot and with melee cards not available the more that I believe they will use magic as their line up. And sure they did, so that made my line up works well

Since the plan is to kill them with their very own attacks being countered and bouncing back to them, I chose all my monster with big chunks of life

So even though they were able to reduce my attacks by using the Mushroom Seer while their card's attacks were boosted by their summoner which helps me to kill them faster as the attacks bouncing back to them were also boosted up

And with enough life even with earthquake I was able to get the win easily because of how powerful the defense line up death team provides.
