Hey guys, it's been awhile since I've last posted but I wanted to give an update on what I've been doing. I started creating unique PFP NFT collections recently. I chose to use the Algorand blockchain to mint my artwork. There are a number of platforms on the Algorand blockchain to create your NFT collections and I settled on Algogems. 

     Algogems is a unique NFT marketplace where you can mint your nft collections for free. I chose to just pay the fees to mint my collections. (.001 ALGO per tx) You can auction your work, sell it for a fixed price, or create shuffles on the platform. The platform features its own currency $GEMS which can be bought and used for staking and governance on the platform. The benefit of staking $GEMS is that you can vote to verify your favorite creators, and ban thieves & scammers. This gives the platform a reliable way to authenticate accounts and create trust within the marketplace. You can also tip your favorite creators in $GEMS as well. 

     Getting your verification badge on the platform is a bit different from most platforms but I enjoy it. It keeps the marketplace authentic & it forces the creator out of their comfort zones. I'm having a great time engaging with the Algorand community. I recently became verified & I've created 75 NFTs up to today. This has been a great experience and I plan to update everyone on my experience creating a NFT gallery.
