Musk Decides to Shadowban Unpaid Accounts

By ETHNomad | TheETHNomad's Blog | 28 Mar 2023

Elon Musk made a tweet today indicating that starting April 15th, only verified accounts will be eligible to be in "for you recommendations". Voting in polls will now also require verification. He is alleging that this is the only way to address bot swarms taking over.

My opinion: that is complete 🐂 💩✅

Elon is going to bankrupt the company making decisions like these. I think Elon really needs to evaluate how to make quality control #1. Affordable for all. It's as if all of the Elon dick riders seem to forget that some people in the world don't even make a dollar a day.

I shouldn't be surprised, this is exactly what I expected when a guy like Elon Musk took twitter over. This guy is losing so much God damn money at this point he feels he literally has to bend our arms and make us pay for Twitter blue just to have a decent experience on the platform. Unreal for a guy sitting on billion's of dollars with the ability to improve his platform for all. He just won't.

When people enjoy a product, they don't mind spending money on it, it's really that simple. I'm honestly intrigued to see how this dumpster fire plays out in the end. Letting arrogant, rich men run the world stage is dangerous & irresponsible. It's played out. Fuck Elon Musk ✌️ 💨✅
