First silver of the year!

First silver of the year!

By trumpman | trumpman | 5 Jan 2023

I was expecting the first batch silver of the year to arrive from my #silvergoldstackers secret Santa, but it looks like good ol ' Greek postal service is a bit lazy during the holidays to handle packages from abroad 😂

Nevertheless, it did manage to deliver me something else I bought from local Facebook a couple weeks ago!

Woah, three more boxes! Let's open the first two:

Here we have two identical silver plate things, featuring two sexy dudes exchanging a dildo or something. Nah, just kidding. I will make a separate post about these items in a couple of days, with more photos and the back story. For now, I'll just say this is 0.950 silver, with each piece being 15 grams.

Ok let's open the next box

Now, that's really shiny! Unfortunately, it's just gold plated and not pure gold so there's really not much $$ worth of gold there.

Still, a really beautiful piece to own! I'll make a post for this one too sometime in the future. As for the sexy young man, it's a portrait of the ancient Greek god Hermes:

Hermes (/ˈhɜːrmiːz/; Greek: Ἑρμῆς) is an Olympian deity in ancient Greek religion and mythology. Hermes is considered the herald of the gods. He is also considered the protector of human heralds, travellers, thieves, merchants, and orators. He is able to move quickly and freely between the worlds of the mortal and the divine, aided by his winged sandals. Hermes plays the role of the psychopomp or "soul guide"—a conductor of souls into the afterlife source

That's it for today! Stack on!
