A few days ago I made a post asking for help here on steem, to identify a peculiar tree growing in my summer house.

I got plenty of feedback but unfortunately everybody was wrong! However, yesterday after asking some people here and there I finally got the answer!
Turns out the scientific name of the plant is Acca sellowiana, commonly known as feijoa, a plant native to the highlands of southern Brazil, eastern Paraguay, Uruguay, northern Argentina, and Colombia.
It's an interesting little fella and I feel quite lucky to have a full grown plant already producing fruits! Maybe I'll even try to propagate it next summer if I find the time!
Here's a link to wiki if you want to learn more https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acca_sellowiana
Thanks to everybody who tried to help :)
