Survival still speaks louder than searching for the job I like (or dream of)

Companies exist to make a profit, even though we imagine there's something behind it and that many really care about helping others, deep down I think that doesn't exist. They need profit, capital to pay their employees, costs and investments, so, even if they say that a hospital or school was created to take care of your health or to educate, you can forget that it's only for that reason. I believe that, when we talk about the business world, people don't really care about helping, after all, it's necessary to make a profit somehow.

There's a saying that when the money runs out, the love runs out, so that applies to both sides, the corporate side and the side of people looking for a job. Everything is connected nowadays, so it's complicated for someone to look for a job out of love or because they enjoy it. The old classic that many people go through: look for a job that will pay well or pursue a career in something that may not provide resources, but has always been their passion? Nowadays it's complicated, I think many even want to follow their dreams, but not every dream fills their stomach.

Reinforcing the idea that everything is connected, people would even like to follow their dreams, even if there wasn't financial security in what they want to do, but life and reality have no mercy on us, so if your dream doesn't work out, what will we do? How will we support ourselves? A person might enjoy being a children's teacher, but the salary is poor, so they feel compelled to try teaching in some other area or at some other level, even if they don't like it. After all, they want to follow their dream, but financial considerations also influence their decisions.

The passion still exists, but living conditions in the countries are getting worse and worse, more taxes, more diseases, more demands, all of that is growing, but the quality of life is not. So with this crazy and unrestrained system, our dreams are dying, people no longer do what they like, they do what pays well so they can survive, and that's without even mentioning that... To get there, a person practically dedicates their life and time to getting a good job, and we become flesh-and-blood robots chasing money just to survive, nothing more.

So, for people to start chasing their dreams again, if they truly want to pursue them, I think the only way to make that happen is if the country as a whole, with its leaders and everything else, makes life easier to live, if we can put it that way. This requires improved health, education, security, jobs, quality of life—all of that. I think that's how we can get people to pursue what they really want, in addition to, of course, recognition. Every professional seeks recognition, and this, aligned with the pursuit of their dream, will work out.

Finding a job you enjoy, regardless of the salary or how much you can earn doing it, has become a great challenge of the modern era, but there are still people who do it, who pursue it, even though everything has become much more complicated and difficult. Balancing passion with financial success is definitely the best thing we can try to do; it's not easy, but we might succeed. In the end, survival speaks louder than dreams, at least for me, for now that's still the case.
