The Mining feature of Tron Weekly Journal officially launched last March 21st and since then, the participants are entitled to a chance of getting the most of the 100k TWJ base reward plus the bonuses once every new target is reached. The first week was a major success with the mining team earning 658,887 points. For this week, the team earned 531,758 points, with 14 participants sharing the reward pool which is 200,000 TWJ tokens.
The rewards for this week has already been sent. And the mining round for the third week starts right away!
SIGNIFICANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE MINING
- The mining feature of Tron Weekly Journal uses the system of its partner Folding@Home, a distributed computing project that uses the volunteers' computers' resources to research on protein folding, for the developers and experts to find cures to diseases. This project is being operated by the Pande Laboratory at the Stanford University.
- This week, we reached the 1 million mark for the folding/mining. As a celebration, we added 60k TronWeeklyJournal (TWJ) tokens to the pool, making it 180k, before it was increased to 200k TWJ after another target was reached.
