Tech legend and crypto pioneer John McAfee has quit his own privacy asset project 'Ghost'.
After slating Bitcoin for its lack of privacy, he unleashed on the world only as far back as April, his grand plans to create his own proof-of-stake (PoS) privacy focused asset.
After an initial hiccup of being accused of plagiarism by PIVX, another privacy focused asset, he plowed ahead with his plans.
Yet, only a few months later, tweets started to emerge of his dissatisfaction with the management team in control of the GHOST project.
Pleasantries such as "Josh is an idiot" possibly referring to a top team representative.
Well, when your already a tech legend and millionaire multiple times over, you can pretty much say whatever you like to management!
In return, the GHOST management team tweeted back and acknowledged McAfee's legendary status but described him as a 'loose cannon'.
They added that his name would be removed from the project, but that it was still on course to achieve its goals.
Essentially, John considered the project to be going nowhere because of poor management decisions and simply gave up.
Back to temporary oblivion again for John. At least until his next major crypto prediction.
Oh, and he will be getting rid of his two month old GHOST tattoo:)
