Visited Kanazawa many years ago actually. But needed to come up with sample exercises for my students, so chose this photo.

Dear Diary, I had a great time at Kanazawa today. I visited the Old Quarter in the afternoon because it is a famous tourist attraction. It was full of old shophouses that were repurposed into trendy shops and cafes. I ordered traditional Japanese desserts for my afternoon tea. They tasted so delicious that I couldn’t stop grinning. I can’t wait to explore the Old Quarter again in the future. The memories I made today will remain etched in my heart.

Japanese New Year feast   aHR0cHM6Ly9tLnN0YWNrZXIubmV3cy80MzE1Mg

Did you know that the Japanese celebrate their New Year on the first day of every year? On this day, my wife wakes up early to prepare a grand feast for the family. She prepares prawns for me because she knows that I like seafood. They are flavourful, so I can’t stop eating them. My son gets strawberries as he relishes eating fruits. Their sweet taste tantalises the taste buds, making it really appealing. We have fun bonding over the scrumptious food.
