Another temple has appeared on our list to visit, namely the Yedanasini Temple located near the city of Inwa.

Na naszej liście do zwiedzania pojawiła się kolejna świątynia, a mianowicie Świątynia Yedanasini znajdująca się niedaleko miasta Inwa.

This is a very small and intimate complex of stupas which is located on the west side of the city of Inwa. It was probably built at the end of the 18th century during the reign of the Konbaung dynasty (1752-1885).

To bardzo mały i kameralny kompleks stup który znajduje się po zachodniej stronie miasta Inwa. Powstał prawdopodobnie pod koniec XVIII wieku za panowania dynastii Konbaung (1752-1885).

Unfortunately, the buildings are quite devastated by the earthquake that took place in 1839. The city of Inwa was then almost completely destroyed and abandoned. The capital was moved in 1842 to the city of Amarapura

Niestety budynki są dość mocno zdewastowane za sprawą trzęsienia ziemi, które miało miejsce w 1839 roku. Miasto Inwa zostało wtedy prawie całkowicie zniszczone i opuszczone. Stolicę przeniesiono w 1842 roku do miasta Amarapura

Despite these damages, the ruins are a tourist attraction eagerly visited by tourists. The great columns and the symbol of this temple, i.e. the statues of three Buddhas, have survived.

Pomimo tych zniszczeń ruiny są atrakcją turystyczna chętnie odwiedzaną przez turystów. Zachowały się wielkie kolumny oraz symbol tej świątyni czyli posągi trzech Buddów.

The temple has many features characteristic of buildings erected in Bagan, for example, the presence of windows and doors crowned with pediments, or the richness of stucco work.

Świątynia posiada wiele cech charakterystycznych dla budowli wznoszonych w Baganie, na przykład obecność okien i drzwi zwieńczonych frontonami, czy bogactwo sztukaterii.
