The underrated Sumatra belonging to Indonesia has Lake Toba, which is the world's largest island freshwater lake. But on this island, i.e. in Sumatra, there is another island lying in Lake Toba and it is called Samosir.

Niedoceniana Sumatra należąca do Indonezji posiada jezioro Toba, które jest największym na świecie jeziorem słodkowodnym na wyspie. Ale na tejże wyspie czyli na Sumatrze znajduje się jeszcze inna wyspa leżąca na Jeziorze Toba i nazywa się Samosir.

This is a very strange place when you realize that cannibalism was practiced legally on the island until 1905!

To bardzo osobliwe miejsce, gdy uświadomimy sobie, że do roku 1905 na wyspie uprawiano legalnie kanibalizm!

Nevertheless, the island is a beautiful place with an amazing climate. Especially in the rainy season, when there are few tourists, the island looks picturesque.

Niemniej wyspa jest przepięknym miejscem o niesamowitym klimacie. Szczególnie w porze deszczowej, kiedy mało jest tam turystów, wyspa wygląda malowniczo.

Walking around the village of Tuk Tuk, we came across the workshop of a local artist. It was also a house full of paintings and climatic props.

Spacerując po miejscowości Tuk Tuk, trafiliśmy na warsztat miejscowego artysty. Był to jednocześnie dom pełen obrazów i klimatycznych rekwizytów.
