Podczas naszego pobytu Singapur wydawał nam się on dość drogi. Ceny były wysokie w stosunku do tych w Polsce czy nawet Europie. Jednak oglądając teraz materiały sprzed 3 lat, uświadomiłem sobie, że w tej chwili ceny się wyrównały i są niema identyczne, a może nawet wyższe niż w Singapurze, który uchodzi za najdroższy kraj Azji Południowo-Wschodniej.

Zawsze fascynowała mnie kuchnia azjatycka, zarówno w Tajlandii, czy Birmie, Kambodży. Tak samo jest z Kuchnią w Singapurze, tyle tylko, ze tam mamy wszystkie kuchnie Azji w jednym miejscu. Uwielbiam jej różnorodność i zapachy. Gdy nie podróżuje, zapachy są dla mnie bardzo silnym bodźcem do wspomnień. Gdy wyczuję jakiś zapach w knajpce w Polsce, od razu mam skojarzenia z jakąś częścią Azji.

Urzeka mnie Singapurze wszechobecny spokój i porządek. I mimo iż ludzie są zapracowani, nie widać na ulicach zbytniego pośpiechu. Wszystko jest poukładane i na czas.
