This is the first post in this series!

I got a lot of support after my last post(almost 30 new followers) and I believe that that's enough.

So let's get in!

First off, crypto trading requires you to have 3 things:

A Binance Account: Get one here:

A wallet: I suggest you get a hot and cold wallet. Hot wallets are software wallets like Trust Wallet or Blockchain wallet. Cold wallets are Trezors or Ledgers. As a beginner, you're better off with a hot wallet at first, then as your portfolio grows, you could get a Trezor to hodl those yellow lambos to life!

Patience: Important, but overlooked.

So let's start.

Crypto trading is simply profiting off price moves in the crypto market. These moves could be up or down, so it's important to know how to make money either way.

Luckily, there is a way to make money in a downtrending market!(I'll discuss this in episode 5 of this series)

You could use Technical analysis to time your entries and exits, but reading the news is a more efficient way to know when to get out. You should combine these two.(My next post will be on what TA is)

So basically, if you buy BTC/USD at 8000 and sell at 8300, your profit is 300 dollars(actually less because of trade fees, but these fees on Binance are 0.075% of the price, so really tiny)

Also, most brokers(those you trade with) offer what is called 'leverage' trading. This allows you to trade with money you don't own, up to 100x your account value.(that is, if you have 300 dollars in your account, you would be able to trade with 30000 dollars)

It seems like a sweet deal, but forget about that as a beginner. You could lose all your money and even end up in the reds.
