Good day to everyone!

And finally the day has arrived. FARSITE has launched its ALPHA! And now you can take your ship and embark in an amazing adventure in the space.... explore galaxies in search of Asteroids full of precious materials to extract and either sell or use!

But let's have a look step by step.... the first thing to do is to acquire the necessary items to start....to this end once joined the game (Click here) you have to complete the easy airdrop tasks in order to receive credit points to acquire a first level ship, a Laser (to extract materials from Asteroids) and a Radar (to find asteroids).

You can find the airdrop tasks by clicking on the Balloon Icon in the lower right corner of your screen.

Follow the instructions by each airdrop task to receive the indicated item!

Once you have the items, you have to equip them into your ship.... so you have to select the ship by clicking on the corresponding icon on the upper right side of the screen:

Then select the ship you have, and open the tab "Slots" in order to install the different items.

Remember that you need a RADAR and a LASER or EXTRACTOR to start playing.

Once you have them, Undock the ship from the station and jump in the hyperspace!! Then move to a near planet. To this end, click on the planet icon on the top left side of the screen:

Click on "Warp to" and move to that planet. Once arrived, scan the sector by using the radar in order to reveal ASTEROIDS:

In order to retrieve resources from an asteroid you need to match the asteroid with your equipment. Since you have equipment S (Small) you can only mine from Asteroids of size S. Moreover, you can only mine from those Asteroids that show the item you have equipped (either Laser or Extractor). See these images for an example.

If you are set, then click on "Mine" and wait to see what you extract!

You can repeat this until your ship storage is FULL. At this point go back to your home station and dock. Then select your ship, open the storage and transfer one by one the materials you have mined to the station storage. Once you are done, click on Market and place all your items to sell.

And that's all!! You will earn credits that can be either used in game or converted into FAR token. The usage of these two tokens are the following:

Once that you understand the mechanics, if you understand that this is a game you like, I suggest you to buy some crates. You can find different options in the shop and you can certainly drop some interesting item!

Otherwise look for better ships.... by doing the airdrop tasks with manual verification you might acquire sufficient points to get an A-3 ship which has much better stats as compared to the A-1!
