I had some BAT in my Uphold account that I wanted to send it to BlockFi.

Normally I send BAT to coinbase wallet (BAT <-> BAT) but I saw this option inside the Uphold Brave Card so I thought I could send BAT directory into my BlockFi ETH wallet. (BAT <-> ETH)

So I typed in BlockFi Address and hit CONFIRM.

Few minutes later, my transaction went through. It was successful and I got the confirmation email from Uphold.

I checked the transaction details on etherscan.io and it was all good...

Except the funds never showed up in my BlockFi account.

I actually tried this option twice.

First time I sent 1 BAT to BlockFi's ETH, waited few days and it never came to BlockFi then I thought they didn't do "dust" transaction because the amount was too small. 1 BAT is like $0.15 and if it is traded to ETH, that is like pretty much nothing.

A couple days later, I decided to do it again but this time I sent everything in the card because 167 BAT was big enough?! ($20 something dollars)

But then again, nothing showed up on the BlockFi side... 😞

I have reached out to Uphold but no response so I think my BAT is lost in transaction somewhere (probly in crypto heaven) and not coming back at this point ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ stupid me.

I just learn from this mistake and move on. I made this post so you won't have to make the same mistake I made 😂 (also to remind myself)

Anything to anything was anything but I thought It was going to be.

I think same thing to same thing is the safest way to go.
