Cryptocurrency-powered web browser Brave Browser announced that its monthly active user count increased 125% over the past year.
Last month, Brave passed the 15 million mark, a growth of 50% since the Brave 1.0 launch last November. Daily active users also went up to 5.3 million users browsing with Brave on a daily basis, up from 2 million one year ago.
I have used Brave for a few months and I experience it to be faster than both Firefox and Chrome. Brave also blocks ads and trackers by default.
But my main reason for using Brave is that it lets you anonymously support the sites you like. With Brave Rewards, your browser tallies the attention you spend on the sites you visit and divides up a monthly BAT contribution among sites based on your attention.
My favorite news site stared using it so it is easy to show my appreciation by tipping them monthly with the BAT I earned by clicking on adds..
Please follow and shear my blog.
And a big thanks for any likes and tips.
