There are many different outlets available as far as getting/earning free crypto currency. This one in particular, the Brave web browser, rewards you with small amounts of BAT for viewing ads.

For those of you that aren’t very familiar with BAT (Basic Attention Token), it is a payment system that rewards and protects the viewers while also providing better conversion to advertisers and higher yield to publishers, according to the whitepage.
The easiest way to describe it, in my opinion, is the viewer’s reward for giving their attention to a particular advertisement. And according to the Brave rewards page from the browser, the viewer gets 70% of the ad revenue from advertisers. Almost sounds like a win/win to me, even though the current value of the BAT is sitting at $0.24. Those can add up, especially if you’re earning them for doing the same ole stuff you normally do, but instead of Chrome, Edge, etc, you do it on Brave. Free money simple as that!
Brave is also real big on user privacy. They don’t want to work with those companies that are out to collect your data to make a profit. They want your information to stay protected. They also give you the opportunity to tip the creators of a page or even set up monthly contributions.
Within the Brave Browser settings, you have the option to change the amount of ads per hour that you will see. You can go anywhere from one single ad per hour up to five ads per hour. Me personally, I have mine set on five ads per hour. Works out better for me as well as the advertisers.
when an ad does come along, it’s not one of those annoying pop ups that cover most of the page or anything like that. It’s simply a banner that appears at the top of your screen for a matter of seconds, just like a mobile notification banner, and you can either choose to tap on it to open the page and receive a reward for doing so, or you can ignore it and wait for the next one. It’s all up to you.
I’ve been using Brave for a while now, but I downloaded it on a separate device about a month ago for testing purposes. For the month of September, Brave shows that I’ve had a total of 162 ads come my way and I’m sitting at a rewards balance of 3.75 BAT which is about $0.88 with the current market. I know I’ve missed some here and there, but that gives you a rough idea as far as earnings.
Overall, I really enjoy using Brave and I would recommend it to everyone. It’s fast, simple, secure and it rewards you in crypto. That’s much more than we can say for the other browsers that we have all been using. Give it a try and see for yourself. You can always uninstall or switch back to another browser if you don’t like it.
