The company already holds over 576,200 BTC, with unrealized profits exceeding $21.8 billion. This could mark the seventh consecutive week of purchases.
Strategy, the firm led by Michael Saylor, is preparing for another Bitcoin acquisition amid a correction from the recent highs of $112,000 down to $109,000. Saylor hinted at this in a post on X, stating:
"I only buy Bitcoin with money I can't afford to lose."
His words are often interpreted as an informal signal to buy, especially following the recent purchase of 7,390 BTC ($765 million) on May 19. If the company acquires more coins on May 26, it would be the seventh straight week of buying, highlighting Strategy’s long-term investment approach.
The strategy is working.

Bitcoin Purchases by Strategy Over Time and Key Metrics
According to SaylorTracker, Strategy holds 576,000 BTC and is sitting on an unrealized profit of over $21.8 billion — a more than 54% gain from its average purchase price.
The company has turned Bitcoin into the cornerstone of its corporate treasury, showcasing how cheap fiat money can be leveraged to acquire a scarce asset with asymmetric growth potential.
"Most companies spend borrowed funds on operating expenses. We allocate them to acquiring the best asset on the planet," Saylor previously stated.
Can the Company Reach $10 Trillion?
In a recent interview, analyst Jeff Walton suggested that Strategy could become the most valuable publicly traded company in the world — provided it continues accumulating Bitcoin.
"Strategy owns a more secure and scarce asset than any other company on the planet," Walton stated.
The company has already proven its ability to mobilize billions within weeks, unlike most firms that struggle to raise even hundreds of millions.
Why Can't Bitcoin Break $150,000?
Despite active buying from Strategy and other institutional investors, Bitcoin has failed to stay above $112,000 and continues to trade within a range. Saylor attributes this to premature profit-taking:
"Investors don’t believe in the long-term game. They sell too early because they don’t fully understand the nature of a scarce asset."
Nevertheless, Saylor maintains that Bitcoin is an asset with million-dollar price potential, especially as all fiat currencies with unlimited supply continue to weaken.
What’s Next?
If Strategy indeed purchases more Bitcoin this week, it will strengthen the market signal of buying interest during a dip. The company has become a benchmark for large players — its moves are echoed by other entities looking to diversify their balance sheets through Bitcoin.
Saylor is once again betting that scarcity outweighs short-term profit. And the market, it seems, is still listening.
