In Publish0x's newest contest we were asked where we would like to see Upland open up next. My clear answer is: Send the Llama abroad to Europe! Although there are still many great cities left to explore on the North American continent, with Europe a whole continent awaits to be put on the blockchain.
So why Europe? The answer is clear, thousands of years of cultural history cannot wait to be minted as virtual properties on EOS blockchain. And hundreds of millions of inhabitants are eager to buy their virtual estates.
So why Berlin? Although Berlin is by far not as old as others of Europe's capitals it is worth one of the Llama's visits. Its population is like the city itself young and pulsating. Construction sites are anywhere in the city so there is enough chance for updates! Still the city is rich in history and has lots of sights both old and new.
One of the most iconic sights is the "Brandenburger Tor" which you can see on this photo taken by the author himself on a new year's night some years back in time. Every year the coming year is welcomed with big public fireworks at this place. It is really THE iconic landmark for the city as it is used as a symbol for the city, as well.

If you ever get the chance to, it is really worth a visit. If you happen to stay in winter in Berlin, be sure to pay the yearly markets for Christmas a visit, too. The Christmas markets in Berlin are not as big and are not as old as others in more southern parts of Germany, but still they are surely worth a visit, as well.
Berlin, that is where my Upland Explorer wants to go. He would start at one of my properties in Fresno.
