Sungkyunkwan University’s AIM Lab (AI & Media Lab)
Is already hard at work on Samsung's Question-Aware Gaussian as well as others such as 3D Vision as well has AI-Human alignment projects. The AIM lab will utilize Theta's EdgeCloud for such huge projects as robotic perception, more vision modeling
Who leads the AIM Lab?
Professor Sungeun Hong who is an associate professor at Sungkyunkwan University leads their AIM Lab. The professor was formerly a research scientist at SK Telecom’s T-Brain AI Center. His academic pedigree is very impressive and he is well known for his works in domain adaptation, multimodal AI, and robot vision.
Look for Sungkyunkwan University to demo some technology at CVPR 2025, June 11–15 in Nashville, TN.
This event is one of the world’s top AI and computer vision conferences. Is anyone planning on attending? I would like to see some of the topics and of course get a debrief, but that's prolly way above my pay grade.
