"I used to hate deadlines. Every time I had one, I felt like I was drowning. I‘d procrastinate, panic, and then stay up all night to finish something that should have taken a week.
It wasn‘t that I was lazy. I just didn‘t know how to manage my time.
Then I learned a few things. And now? I still don‘t love deadlines. But I don‘t fear them anymore."

I Started Breaking Big Tasks Into Small Steps
I used to look at a project and think: 'I have to do everything.' That overwhelmed me.
Now I break it down:
- Step 1: Set up the environment
- Step 2: Write the main function
- Step 3: Add error handling
- Step 4: Test
Each step takes 20–30 minutes. Suddenly, the project doesn‘t feel so big.
I Stopped Waiting for the 'Perfect Moment'
I used to wait until I felt 'ready' to start. That moment never came.
Now I start anyway. Even if I‘m tired. Even if I‘m not sure how to do it. Even if I don‘t feel motivated.
Motivation comes after you start, not before.
I Started Planning Backwards
Instead of thinking: 'I have 2 weeks to do this,' I think: 'What do I need to finish each day to make sure I‘m done on time?'
Then I schedule it. Day by day. I write it down.
It‘s not exciting. But it works.

I Accepted That Done Is Better Than Perfect
I used to spend hours making things 'perfect.' Then I realised — perfect is the enemy of done.
Now I focus on finishing first. I can always improve later. But I can‘t improve something that doesn‘t exist.
I Stopped Comparing My Pace to Others
I used to look at my classmates and think: 'They‘re already done. Why am I so slow?'
Then I realised — they had different schedules, different habits, different lives. Comparing didn‘t help me.
Now I only compare myself to yesterday. Am I better than I was 24 hours ago? That‘s all that matters.
"Deadlines are not your enemy. They‘re just a reminder that time exists. And time is something you can learn to use.
You don‘t have to be perfect. You don‘t have to be fast. You just have to start."
