What is the Horizen Faucet? How do I get more coins?
The Horizen (ZEN) Faucet, also known as GetZEN Cash or ZENHUB, is the official faucet launched by the development team of the Horizen cryptocurrency. Users can claim Horizen every 20 hours for FREE, which can be immediately deposited into wallets. Though the starting amount is relatively tiny, there are several bonuses/incentives to drastically increase the income from the faucet:
1. Social Media Multiplier: By linking up to 4 social media accounts, you can earn 1.9X the rewards per faucet claim!
2. Use the Brave Browser: By claiming ZEN on Brave, you get a bonus 20%!
3. Tiered Referral Program: In the tiered referral program, you can get 20% of the claim of each of your direct referrals. As a tiered system, you also get 10% of the claim made by a referral's referral, 5% of the subsequent tier, and 3% of the fourth and final tier. In other words, if you have a vast social network and lots of people using the platform, you could earn some serious ZEN!
4. Daily Logins: In a 6 day cycle, you can get increasing multipliers (No bonus, 1.2x, 1.4x, 1.6x, 1.8x, and 2.0x respectively) on faucet claims. Every 5th day, ontop of the 1.8x reward, you also get to spin a little slot machine and earn bonus ZEN!
5. HODL Bonus: You get a little bit of a bonus by keeping ZEN in your ZEN wallet. To begin with, you are at a 0.8x multiplier, but as you get more coins, you can get the 1x claim at 0.005 ZEN and up to 3X per claim at 10 ZEN!
6. Link an Official ZEN Wallet: By downloading and using an official ZEN wallet on your phone or computer as the claiming address of coins, you not only get a sweet 1.5x claim bonus, but you also enable instant withdrawals. In other words, your claimed amount goes straight into your own wallet. No need to save up to a certain amount of coins to withdraw. No need to pay transaction fees.
This faucet is definitely legitimate, as it is run by the developers of Horizen, and they have never missed any of my payments since I started using the faucet. I have personally used the Horizen faucet on and off since mid-October, and so far, I have accumulated about 0.1ZEN or about $2.00 US dollars in just claims at the time of writing this article (I also made a couple bucks from referrals). Sure, it doesn't seem like a lot of coins, but at the end of the day, ZENHUB is simply a faucet meant to make people interested in trying out the coin! If you're looking to get a few extra coins in your wallets or simply interested in dipping your toes into another coin, then ZENHUB might be a nice starting point!
