What is Electroneum?
Electroneum is a mobile-based cryptocurrency that is KYC/AML compliant, aimed at bringing cryptocurrency and financial capabilities especially to the unbanked people of the world and make cryptocurrency a little more known and adopted. Through their app, users can be rewarded the equivalent of up to $3.00 US every month through a "cloud mining" system. The ETN can also be used to top off airtime and data on select networks in Brazil, Cambodia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Turkey, Uganda, and more in the future. "Mining" requires little to no technical expertise, can be done on most smartphones, and uses very little time, data, battery, and effort.

So... How do I get some ETN?
Simple! On your phone (iOS and Android are both supported), navigate to the app store and download the Electroneum app. Once installed, open the app and create an account. Please note that to fulfill the KYC/AML compliance and to ensure that users are not bots, Electroneum requires you to take several photos of yourself doing specific poses. Next, you will have to create a 5 digit pin code, which will be your log-in every time you open the app.
Once you finish signing up, you will be rewarded to 25 Electronuem. To start "mining", simply tap "Start Mining". Every 1-7 days, you will need to reopen the app and press "Extend Mining" to continue reaping rewards. Every time you reach 100 ETN, the cryptocurrency will be deposited straight into your app's built-in wallet.
If you are interested in mining Electronuem, I would truly appreciate it if you could use my referral code! My referral code is E7654E and will give you a 1% boost in mining! And of course, I won't hide anything and straight up tell you that I will also receive more coins as well.
Just as a side note: If it isn't clear already, mining Electronuem almost certainly won't make you rich, but can teach you a little more about cryptocurrency, and help bring crypto to more people around the world.

What's the Electroneum wallet like?
The Electroneum wallet built into the app is just like any other wallet you may have used in the past. You can send. You can receive. You can also check transaction details such as the payment ID, transaction hash, and status.

What else is on this app?
The Electroneum app also has statistics of the coin, a list of exchanges, price calculators, and a link to a brand-new freelance work platform known as AnyTask. On AnyTask, you can buy or sell skills or do digital contract work in exchange for Electroneum.

I've heard of an Electroneum M1. What's up with that?
The Electroneum M1 is a very basic, budget smartphone with an MSRP of about $80. It is aimed to bring smartphone technology to those in developing nations or those with low incomes. Although it can be used to surf the web, make calls and texts, take photos and videos, play some games, and of course, "mine" Electroneum, the phone is not the most powerful, but still a decent choice for many people who lack access to flagship phones such as the latest iPhone or Galaxy.

If you are interested, I have tried out this budget smartphone for about a week and wrote a short review here:

Thank you very much for reading my article. For those of you interested in mining the coin, I wish you best of luck!
Disclaimer:
I am not in any way affiliated with Electroneum or any other crypto/crypto-related company. However, I would be absolutely delighted should you choose to use my referral code E7654E to cloudmine Electroneum!
