Hello today we will be going over what Cryptocurrency is and how it works, and we’re you can learn more about it!!
You May find yourself asking what is Cryptocurrency?
The answer I am going to give you is very simplified.
It is Digital Money, that eliminates the use of middle men and 3rd parties( Like banks )
With Crypto there is no waiting for your bank to be open, no waiting for a cheque that might bounce to go through.
You have access to your money anytime and can send or receive at anytime with a lower fee and with more privacy.
You hold the digital assets in what is called a wallet. Types of these wallets vary:
- An Online wallet on a site( not as safe)
- A downloaded wallet ( pretty safe with its one time paraphrase protection )
- A USB wallet like Ledger ( Really the safest option as it can sit safely offline)
- On Exchanges ( not safe at all, as exchanges get cyber attacks)
Cryptocurrency is Decentralized
Modern Fait is Centralized
now your wondering what those mean?
Centralized : One entity has control.
Decentralized: Everyone has Control.
Thats a very basic way of putting it.
