Has this ever happened to you? You're right there. Trying to move forward. But suddenly... everything stops.
It's not a Game Over.
There's no explosion.
No alarm goes off.
Only that spinning circle appears in the middle of the screen.
That simple message, almost insignificant:
LOADING… PLEASE WAIT.
And you, impatient because you were just defeating a monster when the game simply crashed… you press buttons frantically. You want to continue. You want answers. You want movement. But the game doesn't respond. It just keeps loading. In silence. In darkness. Giving you no clue how much longer it will take.
That’s exactly how some moments in life feel. They aren’t crises. They aren’t falls. They’re those blank spaces between levels. Between a goodbye and a new beginning. Between a job lost and one yet to be found. Between a love that left and another that hasn’t arrived yet. Between pain and healing. Between who you were… and who you are becoming.
And even though nothing seems to be happening… everything is unfolding beneath the surface.
Because when the game says "Loading," it doesn't mean it's broken. It means something big is being installed. A new map. A hidden ability. An internal system reconfiguring itself—or simply reconnecting to the server.
The greatest advancements don’t happen during visible action, but in those seconds when everything seems frozen (and I’d even say, the most profound lessons of life come from here).
Think about games: How many times, during loading, have new languages been unlocked, achievements earned, weapons obtained, or parallel storylines revealed? How many times have you returned to a previous level… only to discover you can now do things that were once impossible? Because while it was loading, the system was learning. Integrating. Preparing you…
The same happens with you. Every time you feel stuck, useless, as if you’re doing “nothing”… perhaps you’re simply in loading mode. Your soul is processing what you’ve lived. Your heart is rearranging its priorities. Your mind is filing away lessons. Your spirit is gaining strength in the shadows. And yes, this uncertainty hurts.
Yes, it’s frustrating not to see progress. But trust this: the mere fact that you’re still breathing is part of the process. The fact that you’re still here, even if you don’t understand what’s happening, is proof the system is still running.
This blank space isn’t punishment. It’s a necessary update. Like switching consoles, graphics, or game engines. You can’t keep playing with the old system if you’re ready for a higher level. So don’t rush. Don’t force it. Don’t judge yourself for not being “productive.” Just… breathe. Trust. And while you’re loading, remember this: The deepest changes aren’t displayed on screen. The strongest growth isn’t announced with epic music. The most transformative shifts are born in silence.
And when the game finally returns… you won’t be the same character. You’ll be one with greater resilience. New abilities. A richer inner story. Ready for a level you couldn’t even imagine before. So if today you’re in loading mode… you’re not out of the game. You’re in one of its most crucial moments. Because while everything seems still, your soul is writing the next chapter.
Thank you for not turning off the console. Thank you for waiting, even when it hurts. Thank you for staying a player, even when you can’t see the match.
I was thinking for the next post:
"Your pain wasn’t a bug. It was a strength update. Emotional resilience +300%."
See you on the other side of Loading.
