After perusing The Royal Mint tonight, I decided that I need to visit a 10oz coin one day.

So here we have the 2024 10oz The Royal Arms coin from The Royal Mint.
This features the artist Timothy Noad's altered Royal Arms design.
I like the design, but it is one I have seen many times and countless different takes on The Royal Arms Design.
You can never go wrong with slapping a Unicorn on something, though. Just a lovely beast, and if they were real, I reckon they'd be a riot to party with!
Onto the exciting stuff, and as I have never actually seen or held a 10-oz coin, the measurements are pretty impressive.
With a diameter of 89mm, this bad boy makes it something you could probably inflict some damage with if you hit someone with it.

They really need to change the King's portrait as it's just bloody awful. Let's skip this part and go on to more goodies!

They do the same design in a 1oz gold coin 😍
I will admit, I am not a gold collector as of yet, honestly, I just can't afford the stuff. But this has a really nice appeal to it. The design really stands out and looks bloody amazing.

But it still doesn't sort out the King's ugly mug. Though it is a bit more manageable as he seems to look a bit more alive and less on death's door in gold.
