My apologies for not posting on Sunday, but I made a late start and had some stuff to do that kept me offline for the most part. It's too bad, because it proved to be a decent day for picks...

The goal now is to get over the $100 mark before we roll into February, but I'll need another good day to get there. Below is my starting balance for the day over at SportsPlays...

NHL Parlay - Jan 31 - Panthers, Maple Leafs, Blackhawks - Parlay Odds +221
The Florida Panthers are rolling, winning 3 in a row and 8 of their last 10. They hit the road to face the Columbus Blue Jackets, winners of 2 in a row. A tough one for Florida, but I think they get the W.
The Maple Leafs are also going strong, winning 3 in a row and going 7-2-1 in their last 10 to keep the pace at the top of the Atlantic Division. They look good against the slumping New Jersey Devils, losers of 4 straight.
Taking a bit of a chance with the final leg of the parlay, as there is not much to like about either the Chicago Blackhawks or the Vancouver Canucks. Slight edge to Chicago at home.

NBA Parlay - Jan 31 - Cavaliers, Knicks, Warriors - Parlay Odds +118
The Cleveland Cavaliers are coming off a loss, but they are still a healthy 8-2 on their last 10. They look good against a Pelicans team that has now lost 3 in a row.
The Knicks have lost 3 in a row, while the Sacramento Kings have lost each of their last 6. Always tricky when 2 slumping teams meet, but I am taking the Knicks at home.
The Golden State Warriors appear to have found their mojo again, winning 5 in a row. A road trip to Houston should see them make it 6.
