Let me start by apologizing for missing the last couple of days, but I was down with some weird little stomach bug. Not feeling particularly great today, but I've got some picks to share just the same. Let's take a look at my current total on SportsPlays...
NHL Parlay - Jan 25 - Penguins, Senators, Islanders - Parlay Odds +170
The Penguins are on a 5-game winning streak and playing at home against the Coyotes, arguably the worst team in the league. Looks like a straightforward win for the Pens.
Two of the lesser lights in the NHL meet up tonight, with the Ottawa Senators hosting Buffalo. The Sabres won the earlier meeting, but I like the Sens to get revenge.
The Islanders may look out of it in the East, but they have a ton of games in hand and are playing great hockey right now. They should be able to handle the struggling Philadelphia Flyers.
NBA Parlay - Jan 25 - Nuggets, 76ers, Celtics - Parlay Odds +116
The Denver Nuggets are looking to stay in the top 6 in the West and should be able to do that when they face the Detroit Pistons tonight.
It's a similar story for the 76ers, who are holding the #6 spot in the East. They have been playing good ball of late and look like a good bet versus the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Celtics are looking to get moving upwards and should be able to improve their record against the Sacramento Kings, who come into this game on a 3-game losing skid.
