Yesterday was one of those frustrating days where I cam very close to hitting both parlays, only to come up a little short. On the positive side of things, it looks as though my soccer picks are beginning to gain some steam again, as I did enough there to generate a small profit on the day. I may start doing daily soccer posts if the trend continues. Here is how things went for me yesterday at SportsPlays...

A small profit yesterday, but that is certainly better than having a losing day. Once we get into February, I'll start doing a better job of posting detailed stats, so you all get an idea of how things are going. My starting balance for today can be seen below, and I should once again explain that at SportsPlays, they give you 50 cents to start, so getting traction in the early going is tough. The good thing is that you never have to spend a penny of your own money, but you can cash out at different levels...

NHL Parlay - Jan 20- Penguins, Predators, Golden Knights - Parlay Odds +185
The Penguins are hot right now, winning 2 in a row and 8 of their last 10. They look a shoo-in to take out the Ottawa Senators, who are 3 games below .500 on the road.
I usually steer clear of teams on a slump, so taking the Predators to win in the midst of a 4-game slump is a bit of a risk. Still, I like them to break out against the Winnipeg Jets.
Another slumping team makes the parlay ticket today, with the Vegas Golden Knights in a 3-game losing skid. The Montreal Canadiens are coming to town and look to be on the end of a beating.

NBA Parlay - Jan 20 - Knicks, Mavericks, Warriors - Parlay Odds +303
The Knicks are just below the playoff line in the Eastern Conference, but I think they can edge back over it with a home win over the struggling New Orleans Pelicans.
I'm taking a bit of a risk with this one and playing the underdog. The Mavericks and Suns should be in a close battle in this game, but I am giving the slight edge to Dallas at home.
The Golden State Warriors broke out of a slump with a win last time out and I think they continue to roll with a win over the Indiana Pacers, who have just 2 wins in their last 10.

SportsPlays 3X Bet - Saint Mary's Vs Santa Clara UNDER 138.5
I don't really follow college basketball that much, but this is the game that SportsPlays listed for their 3X bet, so taking a shot.

5-Unit Soccer Pick - Galatasaray to WIN
Galatasaray has routinely dominated when playing Kasimpasa, so I am on them to win. You might also want to look at the OVER 2.75 goals.
