Coming off of a strange day yesterday, with my NHL parlay pick turning into a total disaster with none of my 3 teams winning. On a positive note, the 5-unit soccer play scored easily and one of my draw selections came up to. The end result of the day was a small loss, as seen below...

I'm a bit late getting started today, so I will not be posting an official 5-unit pick. Disappointing, because my pick for the day, Toulouse, ran out to an easy 4-0 win. Before we get to the picks, let's take a look at my starting balance over at SportsPlays...

NHL Parlay - Jan 19 - Devils, Rangers, Avalanche - Parlay Odds +402
A quiet night in the NHL, but we do have 3 games to play. The New Jersey Devils are not particularly great this season, but I still like them at home versus the awful Arizona Coyotes.
Our parlay odds are good here, thanks in large part to taking an underdog in one of the 3 legs. That would be the Rangers, who are hosting the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The Colorado Avalanche are the favorites to win it all this year and are playing some great hockey at the moment, going 8-1-1 in their last 10 games.

NBA Parlay - Jan 19 - 76ers, Spurs, Jazz - Parlay Odds -141
Not such a great payout on offer here, but a parlay I feel good about. The 76ers have won 8 of their last 10 and look like a shoo-in at home against the Orlando Magic,
The San Antonio Spurs have been poor of late, going 2-8 in their last 10, but a home home game against OKC serves as a great opportunity to snap out of it.
The Utah Jazz have lost some ground at the top of the Western Conference, but I like them to get back to winning ways on home court versus the Houston Rockets.

SportsPlays 3X Bet - Memphis Grizzlies +6 1/2 
After going 9-1 in their last 10 games, the Grizzlies are the hottest team in the league. Despite that, they head into Milwaukee as an underdog. They might not win, but I think they keep things close.
