We have been receiving complaints about the pay-to-join choice we made when we designed our referral program. Although we explained in our original post that the amount would be more than affordable, and that for the Classic Referral program, you won;t have to pay a red cent to join until the end of this month, and we explained why we decided to impose a fee to join, some people think they deserve a free lunch.
There is no free lunch!
All referral program creators who want to have their referrals to be successful, offer some kind of paid training - either in the form of entry fees, training material purchases, or even by forcing their referrals to buy their products or services, before they are able to join their referral program. Those who don't care, simply throw a link, and that's all.
Training has a huge upfront cost - especially for a startup like us. It's fair for the referrals to share a tiny part of this cost. But some people think they can have all the training, systems, and support for free. You can't have any of these for free. It wouldn't be fair to those who take training and support seriously.
In the other hand, you may be thinking that you can know ScreenTag better than its creators, and you don't need any guidance about what to say to which people. A plain referral link is enough for you, because you are a genius marketer who knows everything.
So be it! You want to join for free? Go join for free. Simply use during checkout the coupon code NOACCESS, and you join for free. But, as the coupon code says, you will have no access to a number of features that are saved to those who are more humble, and prefer to pay a tiny fee to get the training they need to be successful.
- You get no access to training
- You get no access to marketing material
- You get no access to our funnel
- You get no access to support
- You get no access to the 3% additional rewards pool
- You receive 5% on the commissions of your direct referral partners, rather than 10% (Master program)
In other words, you get what you would be getting with any free-to-join program. We cannot force you to be successful with our program, if you don't want to.
