Hello, it's been a while. I haven't posted anything here in a long time cause I've been focusing on other things. I thought it would be cool to come back with some song recommendations since music is one of my greatest passions. In this series I will be sharing songs from my personal playlist that keeps growing. I will keep it bite sized, probably 5 songs at a time. Anyways, let\s get into it.
1. Sketch The Sky - Watercolours + Pastel Shade
Very technical, very jazzy with a djenty spin. Excellent guitar playing and beautiful melodies.
2. Phoebe Bridgers - Smoke Signals
Hauntingly beautiful and gentle. I especially love the string section in the chorus. It will put you into a very melancholic state.
3. S. Carey - Rose Petals
Another gentle, beautiful, acoustic folky type of song. Makes you feel like you're in the mountains.
4. Julie Byrne - Natural Blue
When the chorus comes along I can't help but sing. Julie has such a beautiful hearty voice. Deep but smooth.
5. Breaking Benjamin - Skin
Breaking Benjamin is the band that got me into heavy guitar music. "Skin" is from their debut album and it used to be the singers least favorite song and he refused to play it for a long time. But in recent years he gave his creation another chance and has been playing it live.
