Welcome to the first week follow-up of "The Zoo's Portfolio".

The series

This series has the aim to follows 5 different low-thought portfolios:

• "The Drunken Pirate", owned by the Monkey
• "The Internet Said", owned by the Dog
• "Drive by Looking in Rear View Mirror" owned by the Turtle
• "Optimistic Drive by Looking in Rear View Mirror" owned by the Elephant
• "Trending", owned by the Sheep

The different ideas behind the portfolios are explained in the "Intro" episode.

Let's see what is happening after the first week (08/07/2022).

"The Drunken Pirate" portfolio

A good increase in value for the Monkey's portfolio, it looks like the choice of random coins / tokens paid off this time.

Highest increase for Avalanche AVAX, with more than +22.5% in a week, second place for Solana SOL, with a +16.7%.

An overall increase of 14.3% of the portfolio value in a week.

The Drunken Pirate (TDP):

• Total Invested (30/06/2022) = $500 
• Current Value (08/07/2022) = $571.50

"The Internet Said" portfolio

For the Dog's portfolio the highest increase is for THOREUM, with a +15.7%, second place for Bitcoin BTC, with a +13.3%.

An overall increase of 11.7% of the portfolio value in a week.

The Internet Said (TIS):

• Total Invested (30/06/2022) = $500 
• Current Value (08/07/2022) = $558.53

"Drive by Looking in Rear View Mirror" portfolio

For the Turtle's portfolio the highest increase is for Ethereum ETH, with a +21.4% in a week, second place for BNB, with a +15%.

An overall increase of 15% of the portfolio value in a week.

Drive by Looking in Rear View Mirror (DLRVM):

• Total Invested (30/06/2022) = $500 
• Current Value (08/07/2022) = $575.05

"Optimistic Drive by Looking in Rear View Mirror" portfolio

As For the Turtle's portfolio, also the Elephant's one shows the highest increase for Ethereum ETH, with a +21.4% in a week, second place for BNB, with a +15%.

An overall increase of 11.8% of the portfolio value in a week.

Drive by Looking in Rear View Mirror (DLRVM):

• Total Invested (30/06/2022) = $500 
• Current Value (08/07/2022) = $558.82

"Trending" portfolio

Not a great performance compared to the other for the Sheep's portfolio, the +12.8% increase of Stepn GMT, and the Bitcoin BTC +13.3% have been almost balanced by the drop of Green Satoshi Token GST of -22%.

An overall increase of 4.75% of the portfolio value in a week.

Trending (TR):

• Total Invested (30/06/2022) = $500 
• Current Value (07/07/2022) = $523.75

Analysis

A recap of the portfolios evolutions after the first week:

For the first week, the Turtle, which could be considered to hold the "safest" porfolio, wins.

The surprise is that the Monkey, with her random choices, is in second place, very close to the first.

The worst performance comes from the Sheep's Trending portfolio.
As you can imagine from the way I write I'm not a native English speaker, but maybe "trending" doesn't just have a positive meaning.
