Best Upcoming Airdrops in 2024

Best Upcoming Airdrops in 2024

By Lucasgaio | The Microcoiner | 28 Dec 2023

A rather interesting phenomenon has been taking hold lately: the race for airdrops. After the Cosmos ecosystem gave away thousands of tokens to its users, Solana also did the same and many other protocols are adapting. This seems to be a real trend and by 2024 it has all the potential to take on unexpected proportions. But what are the next airdrops that will potentially arrive at the beginning of 2024?

We list the main:

Solana Ecosystem

I have grouped here the main protocols of the Solana ecosystem that could give away a certain amount of tokens to those who use them. Some of these have already confirmed it, while for others it is just speculation. This is the largest section, containing many Dapps that are without a token and have announced their desire to issue it.

Before continuing, however, I recommend reading my article on: "Which will be the Next Solana Airdrop?"

In this article, in fact, I have grouped together the 5 main protocols that I am following in order to be eligible for their future airdrop. Many of these have a points system where the more you use the services offered, the more points you collect. Obviously, the higher the score, the higher the chances of an airdrop will be.

The protocols and related referral links to interact with them are:

Ethereum Network

The second network with quite a few airdrops waiting is Ethereum and its Layer 2. Below I will list three projects that have already announced an airdrop when they launch the mainnet. Qualifying is really simple and within everyone's reach, but the gas fees which at the moment remain quite high must be considered. Despite this, I think it's worth the risk given the possible reward.

1. Blast

Blast is a layer 2 of Ethereum with native earnings for ETH and stablecoins. The mainnet has not yet been launched and will launch in February 2024. In the meantime, however, it is possible to use the bridge to lock $ETH on layer 2 and qualify for the announced airdrop. Here are some invitations to access the bridge:

2. Manta Pacific

This is a very interesting project on the Ethereum network and which also includes  Binance among the main investors. This gives hope for a direct listing of the token at the time of the airdrop, which has historically always been very positive for the price. To be eligible you simply need to bring a minimum of 0.25ETH from the mainnet to Manta Pacific using their bridge. This will give you one or more pieces of a box which, once obtained, must be opened to obtain an NFT. Here are some referral codes to use if you intend to use the bridge. You only have time until 12/31.

The token you receive on the Manta layer is $STONE, a liquid derivative of staking. Wanting to maximize the income, it is possible to give it as liquidity on the LayerBank protocol. This is a lending protocol that provides additional income on $STONE and other assets.

3. Eigenlayer/Ether.fi

Another very interesting project like the previous one. He too has received interesting investments such as, for example, from Coinbase. The operation is the same as Manta and consists of passing $ETH from the mainnet to layer 2. Unfortunately the capacity of the pools is almost saturated but you can still participate by staking $ETH on Ether.fi. It is a re-staking service that uses Eigenlayer pools and therefore makes us eligible for the airdrop. Obviously here too we find a points system and referral links which I leave you below: https://app.ether.fi/eeth?address=0x1cd7B2c89cD42580BEc1844087F62060Edd80d75

DeBank

There isn't much to say about DeBank if you've read the "Ultimate DeBank Guide". It is a crypto wallet tracker that also implements many other functions such as social networking. It is not a real Dapp but it does not have a token and many think that sooner or later it will issue one. To be eligible, all you need is a profile and a wallet. You can follow me at this link: https://debank.com/profile/0x1cd7b2c89cd42580bec1844087f62060edd80d75/stream

SyncSwap

SyncSwap is a Dex built on the zkSync-Era network, but which now also supports Linea and Skroll. The criteria are not very clear but, in order not to make mistakes, it is a good idea to carry out some simple swaps and deposit some liquidity in your pools in order to create some volume. The operation is very simple, similar to that of Pancakeswap. It doesn't implement a points system at the moment, so the to-dos for this section end here.

Wormhole/Orbiter.finance

Wormhole is a bridge, i.e. a protocol that allows you to move tokens or NFTs from one blockchain to another. There are no airdrop announcements from this Dapp but the speculation is becoming more and more intense. Furthermore, Orbiter should also be included in the Bridges category. This is another economical and tokenless bridge that allows you to move tokens between blockchains different from those of the competitor Wormhole or between the main Ethereum network and its Layer 2. At the moment Orbiter guarantees points as a reward as tasks are completed tasks such as moving a token on a certain blockchain. Furthermore, if you carry out more than 10 transactions you can mint an NFT which has the value of a badge. The advice is to carry out at least 10 transactions to be eligible for a possible Orbiter airdrop and also to move some tokens using Wormhole.

Cosmos Ecosystem

Finally, I also included the Cosmos ecosystem as an extra because it is constantly expanding and never stops giving Airdrops to its users. The latest, Celestia (TIA), earned a few thousand dollars for those who held it for a few days. I am convinced that staking all or part of the tokens is not a bad idea and can make you eligible for future airdrops. Therefore, the only thing there is to do here is to stake some ecosystem tokens such as $ATOM, $OSMO, $TIA, $INJ and $KUJI.
