How governments and political systems use division, messaging, and psychological tactics to shape public opinion and influence what people believe around the world.

I've written this short article entry in response to one of the GoVoteX Infinity survey questions. I figured, since I posed the question, I may as well create a logical thinking path around the answer to it.
The Question Was
How should government officials found guilty of misappropriating taxpayer funds be held accountable?
This question asks what process and consequences should apply when a government member or group is found guilty of misappropriating taxpayer funds, including due process and restrictions on future government service.
If a member or group within government is found guilty of misappropriation of taxpayer funds, what should the new GoVoteX Infinity process be?
a. Lock them up without a trial
b. Allow them due process
c. Never allow them to work in government again
d. Life in prison, with no chance of parole
Now, you may be asking yourself, what does this survey question have to do with the title of the article, and here's where I'll connect the dots.
For years, even decades, people have been holding on to their political beliefs, many times without thinking deeply about the structures that created these beliefs. The thinking, or lack thereof, may sound something like this: I'm a Democrat because my parents are/were Democrats, or I'm voting Republican because I'm a "patriot" and the left ideology is just too draconian for me.
Whatever you believe about the two-party system really doesn't matter because what I'm bringing to your attention is that both sides are equally selling an untruthful ideology. There is no Right or Left, Democrat or Republican parties; there is only a government that wishes to control your ideas of them. The government needs the public to hold whatever their beliefs are, whether Democrat or Republican, because those beliefs are the mental chains which allow them to stay in power.
I was actually on YouTube and was interrupted by back-to-back political ads for a politician who was supposed to be a conservative Republican while fighting to "do the right thing" by the people. This was the second of the two commercials. The first commercial was about the same politician and how they voted for men to be allowed in women's bathrooms.
I'm not trying to point out what's right or what's wrong; that should be obvious to you. The point I'm trying to make is, by you, the voter, not having the ability to change your mind, your mind is being controlled by the commercial ad itself.
For decades, the public's core beliefs, whether Democrat or Republican, have been manipulated through blurred lines that only the puppet masters of the show understand. What they've done is taken every stance you feel strongly about and packaged it around ideas that seem good for you, your family, community, and the country.
However, the truth is, behind the scenes, everything the government does only benefits them—the people at the very top of the pyramid—and it's always been this way.
I'll get into the psychology a bit deeper in my next entry. It will be up to you, the reader, to hold yourself accountable enough to join me. There are solutions coming, and damn good ones if you stick around.
Also, whether you believe you're a Democrat or Republican, we would appreciate you taking the GoVoteX Infinity surveys to help guide how we continue to structure a new system of government accountability. The current Red Tape system is meant to do nothing while tricking the public into believing otherwise.
