The Devil Dancing Around

The Devil's Roommate

**Have You Willingly Accepted the Terms of the Agreement?**

By Michaelson Williams, author of *The Legacy Wife, Playground Dating TheoriesYOU ARE ILLUMINATI: Psychological World War IIITrainwashing: The Secrets of Positive Brainwashing,* and more.

Do you believe in good and evil, light and darkness, positive and negative forces, or unseen energy moving all around you? Of course you do. Most of the world has, for as long as mankind has existed.

But now that we live in so-called modern times, evil has taken on the face of everyday people. It no longer arrives wearing horns or hiding in the shadows. It blends into the crowd. It rules the day, and few seem to question where it's taking society—or why.

I know you're not oblivious to the idea that evil, or the Devil, can live within men and women, but what does that actually look like in the modern world?

In this article, I'll explore what I believe modern evil looks like from a bird's-eye view of collective psychology and social conditioning. We'll examine why, from my perspective, more and more people seem to be signing an unwritten agreement to live with the Devil as a roommate.

The world is a sick place, and anyone with eyes to see can observe this as fact. When I say "the world is a sick place," I don't mean every part of it. But from where I sit, more of it has turned rotten, and fewer flowers are blooming. The once-good fruits of society have fallen from the trees, only to lie on the ground and rot beneath the heat of the sun.

Or maybe the heat isn't the sun at all, but the Devil being the worst roommate imaginable, with society simply following his lead.

I wrote the opening to this entry this way to pull you, the reader, into the conversation. Now let me break down the ideas I will present as evidence that society is indeed being crushed under the weight of accepting evil as something normal.

Now, "evil" as we know it has been around for a long, long time—maybe even since the dawn of mankind, or at least so the story is told. You already know the whole Garden of Eden story. What I'm suggesting is that you don't even need the Bible to come to the conclusion that evil indeed exists. You can see it. You can feel it. It's out in the open.

Whatever the source of this ever-growing evil, it is rearing its ugly head in the actions and deeds of people at the individual level. It's in you, and yes, I am holding myself accountable for what may still be left in me. I believe every human being has at least a small measure of evil within them. It's in our blood, which is why we bleed red—the color we often associate with the Devil, or at least the color we've been taught to associate with him.

My grandmother used to say, "That child has the Devil in him," whenever she saw an unruly child in public, and now I completely understand what she meant.

Most of our current society—no matter at what level—is behaving like the unruly child or children that my grandmother talked about. What I've been doing as of late is trying to figure out if I am indeed one of those unruly children as well. Are you? I know I don't want to be, but in this world, in this reality, it seems more and more difficult—and unrewarding—to behave in a godly manner.

I'm definitely not a religious man, but I know when things have moved too far in one direction and when unhealthy behaviors have become normal behaviors. If there is, in fact, a god or gods, their light has dimmed in the hearts and minds of their creations.

We—humanity—used to live in the house of the gods in the rich part of town, but now it feels like our apartment is on Skid Row, and the Devil isn't wearing any pants.

I don't know about you, but I'm not liking this living arrangement one bit. The only problem is that I'm also not completely sure how to get out of this situation because I don't exactly understand how I—we—got here in the first place. All I know is that I, like you, am fully responsible for the mess we are in today, and not taking full accountability for it gets us nowhere. I feel like I'm trapped in a living space with a complete asshole and that I didn't sign up to live with the Devil—but I did. It was me who signed the agreement, just like it was you. We did it together, and now together we're suffering the consequences. Sometimes I feel like I'm in the movie *Groundhog Day* with Bill Murray. This *Groundhog Day* existence is of our own creation, and we are the only ones who can fix it.

Every single morning, we get up and start a new conversation with the Devil, but a few seconds in, we know it's the same conversation as the previous day. If you didn't already guess, this is our interaction with social media, news, television shows, movies, music, and more. It's the poisonous voice of that degenerate roommate, the Devil, as he pulls a heavy drag on a cigarette and blows the smoke directly in our faces. And what's with this weirdo needing to watch us 24/7 as if we are a flock or herd of animals? I don't like it! I can't even use the bathroom without hearing his hoofsteps and seeing his dark shadow pacing back and forth outside the door. It's unsettling at best and downright perverse at worst. He's always in our business, so to speak.

Can't I—we—get a little peace?

Why does the Devil not want me to think about life before 2020? Every single time I start to think about life—reality—before 2020, the COVID-19 timestamp, the Devil whispers to me through someone else's lips, "But it's 2026, and times have changed." It never fails, and 2027 will likely be more of the same.

I'm beginning to think that the Devil doesn't want me looking back because he knows I might discover the exact time he changed reality. The Great Reset. He's probably afraid that if I—we—look back at life before 2020, we won't accept this new social pigsty of a living arrangement.

I know for an absolute fact that before 2020, a whole lot fewer people wore the Devil's artwork all over their bodies, but look at them today. The number of people who now adorn the Devil's designs of random—what look like—evil images from head to toe has increased dramatically.

Being inked has historically been associated by some people with being unhinged or untrustworthy, and has at times been connected with perceptions of gangs or violence in general. Isn't that exactly what the Devil would want: people unconsciously not trusting others on a larger scale? This would easily shorten the amount of time people stay in relationships, and everyone would be none the wiser.

Special note: Research has shown that tattoos can influence first impressions, including perceptions of professionalism, competence, and trustworthiness. While attitudes toward tattoos have changed over time, visible tattoos have historically carried social meanings that affected how people were evaluated in personal and professional settings. Let's continue.

My roommate, the Devil, is a loser, pervert, and degenerate, as he spends most of his time watching porn and pays for OnlyFans content even though he makes pornography free for all. He says he loves porn because that's where the strength of the fathers is lost on the sons. One time, the Devil invited me to sit on the couch and watch a pornographic movie with him, and as I declined, he said, "Don't worry, the homosexual programming is in the peripheral vision, not directly in the forward view."

He went on: "Lesser men can't see it as they slowly turn gay."

The Devil likes to talk because he loves boasting about his evil deeds, so he finished by saying, "Yup, I'm making men gay because strong men are troublesome to the new reality I'm trying to sell them. Strong men are always trying to clean up the apartment and guide women toward a healthier path."

"I don't like it."

I declined again as I kicked an empty can of Bud Light in his direction and said, "Why don't you clean up after yourself?" To which he replied, "Why don't you move out?"

"If I move out, then who's going to warn the other roommates of your deceptions against them?"

After that, I went to my room, one of the few clean places in the living space. I was trapped for the moment, just as the Devil had alluded to earlier, but I was also saving up my spiritual currency so I could get the hell out. I want to be in the presence of good and not have evil looming over my shoulder 24 hours a day ever again.

Eyes on the Devil's Roommate

The Devil keeps placing more and more cameras around the apartment, telling me they're for my safety and the safety of the other roommates, but I don't think he's telling the truth. After all, he is the Devil, and leading the sheep away from the light is what he does best.

I mean, look at the sheer number of people who walk with him instead of celebrating the God(s). Is mankind deliberately siding with darkness because living in the light is simply more difficult? Has humanity become so dark that the light hurts our eyes?

As an aside, you may be wondering why I write in this manner. If so, I'll tell you. Our roommate, the Devil, hides in the works of mankind, so I write in a manner where my voice is recognizable. If I don't write this way, the Devil would easily change my voice, tone, and cadence through AI, and deception would become the underpinning.

Evil loves to disguise itself as good because the Devil doesn't want to be alone in the apartment by himself. The Devil enjoys the company of weak, degenerate-minded, inept roommates who are unsuitable mentally for life without him. He sells degeneracy and purity under the same umbrella so as to confuse those who actually don't want to live in his filthy apartment. He uses fear—not the normal kind, but a deep-seated, almost subtle gnawing fear—as a means of controlling his false reality. The Devil capitalizes on this fear with one hand while delivering false comfort with the other. Doesn't that also sound very much like the government, the Powers That Be, or what some refer to as the Illuminati?

You've Lost the Fight Within

**Has the Time of Man Fighting Against Evil Come to an End?**

Throughout history, there have always been tales of great men standing for good and fighting against the evils of the world, sometimes even with their last breath. But now men seem to want nothing, and to fight for the same. Men listen to women like small children, which is a paradox, as a woman's mind has been proven to be childlike itself. So now, in modern times, there are no adults—just a bunch of children listening to each other without anyone to truly take the lead.

When I had this conversation with my roommate, he laughed, and I mean it was a deep belly laugh where his body was quaking. And by the way, he stinks because he wears the cologne of sulfur and feces.

I said, "What's so funny?"

The Devil replied, "Don't you know that women are extremely easy to negatively influence? How do you think I got Eve to eat the apple?"

The Devil said, "God reminded men in 1 Timothy 2:11-12. And I quote:

'Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet.'"

"God told you. He warned all mankind. But man didn't listen, so I used women to get men to forgo strength and embrace weakness. He said, 'The modern woman is my muse, and therefore I use her mind and body for my amusement.'"

"Don't you love it?" the Devil said.

He continued, "I use women against men because men are the weaker when it comes to sex. It's a flaw given to men directly from our Creator."

The Devil went on as he sat there scratching his armpits and elsewhere. "The weaknesses of man are little gifts from the Gods for me to use against mankind, and oh boy, do I use them."

In Summary

The truth is, I don't think the Devil ever forces his way into the apartment. I think he knocks, waits patiently, and listens for the sound of someone unlocking the door. He doesn't need to break in when humanity willingly invites him inside and then forgets he is even there.

The most dangerous roommate isn't the one who rages, demolishes everything, and makes his presence known. It's the one who slowly convinces you that the mess around you is normal. The one who tells you the broken furniture belongs there, the rotten food is acceptable, and the smell in the room is simply the way life is supposed to be.

Maybe the first step in removing the Devil from the apartment isn't finding someone else to blame. Maybe it's having the courage to look around the living space—our minds—recognize what has been allowed to remain, and start cleaning up our own rooms.

Because the Devil may be the worst roommate imaginable, but the uncomfortable truth is this: we still have the keys to the apartment, and the choice to move out.

The question is, are we willing to seek the better option, or will we take the seat next to the Devil and simply continue accepting the terms and conditions of his agreement?
