How Changing What I Feed My Mind Is Changing the Reality I Experience
By Michaelson Williams, author of *The Legacy Wife, Playground Dating Theories, YOU ARE ILLUMINATI: Psychological World War III, Trainwashing: The Secrets of Positive Brainwashing,* and more.
I've been rebuilding my reality. Not metaphorically. Not someday. Right now. Through computer chess. Through learning Russian. Through daily affirmations. Through pushing my body beyond comfort. And something interesting is happening: the light is getting brighter.
What are you feeding your reality?
That's right. The title is exactly how it reads. I've been working on rebuilding my entire reality, and it's working. The shift is happening in real time, and the future keeps getting brighter and brighter, despite the version of the future the controllers of society are trying to write for us.
I truly believe there are entities working diligently to control reality itself—not in the sense that they're literally moving the timeline, but in ways that influence human thinking and behavior to suit their interests. And maybe these Powers That Be—the technocrat types—are trying to shift the actual timeline, you know, with CERN or something even greater. But I'm not speaking about that right now.
These "controllers" of society are trying to build their version of the future, and you'd have to be completely blind not to recognize that it's happening. No one is "living under a rock" anymore because technology, if used with purpose, has turned the rock completely over, allowing the underbelly of society—the rock itself—to be seen clearly.
So, with that out of the way, how do you rebuild your reality in spite of the troubled world around you? Well, let me tell you what I've been doing that works.
Oddly enough, I've been playing computer chess every single day without fail—and most nights. If I wake from sleep, which is just about every night, I fire up my computer chess game on my phone and play a couple of games before going back to sleep. Isn't that weird?... lol
It may be. However, since I've been doing this, coupled with the other things I listed in the title, even my dreams have changed. Now there's more light in them. What do I mean by "more light"? I'm sure you've noticed that your dreams are actually lit by a light in your brain. I believe that's common knowledge—or maybe you've never thought about it until right now.
It's true—or at least it feels true to me—that there's a light inside your head that turns on so you can see the images or movies playing in the dark space around it. I'm not the science, wink, wink, so don't quote me on that. Anyway, the light inside my dreams had, from my perspective, dimmed. But since performing the tasks I'm talking about here, that light has gotten brighter—a lot brighter!
I'll explain later why I believe my dreams' brighter light is a positive thing, and why you should be paying attention to your light too.
Learning Russian
I've been studying the Russian language. Notice I said "studying" and not that I speak Russian. I'm not under the illusion that I will ever be able to speak fluent Russian. However, like playing chess, there is a pressure—a good one—that is, in a positive manner, altering my brain. For a few minutes each day, I've been listening to the Russian language, and my brain has been trying to make sense of it. Good pressure.
Like I mentioned with chess, when I wake at night out of a deep sleep, I'll listen to a few minutes of Russian and then return to my slumber. I know I said, "I don't think that I will ever be able to speak fluent Russian." However, my mind has been telling me differently. Internally, I already speak Russian, and to a level that seems pretty normal to me—at least in my mind. Since the mind is where reality is built, I'll take it.
Daily Affirmation
Now, I'm sure lots of you engage in "daily affirmations," which I think is a great idea because, from my point of view, it fills some of the space where people unknowingly place the garbage. Here's what I mean. Throughout most of the day, most people have little to no clue about the effect that filling their minds with negativity has on their reality. Most people are likely not even paying attention to the amount of negative programming they inflict on themselves.
In my opinion, because this is an opinion piece, people simply don't treat their brains and minds very well at all, which is likely why there is so much negativity in the world right now. Everyone is simply mirroring back what they are willingly putting into their minds. Everyone—or at least most people—is building a garbage-filled reality on the individual level, and it's spilling out onto the lawn of society. Trash in, sludge out.
I'm using daily affirmations—one in particular—to clean up my section of the lawn of society. My daily affirmation goes like this:
"My path is set. My road is paved. Every obstacle is out of my way. With every day, in every way, my journey gets better and better."
It's The MichaelsonEffect.
And it's working. My reality is shifting, and everything around me is becoming more beautiful. I'm not saying this affirmation or these daily and nightly habits will work for you, but I guess because they're working for me, they might work for you too. Who knows.
What I Believe Is Happening to Me
I believe that what’s happening is that my brain is being forced to work harder in regions that have previously been used for zombie—meaning brainless—behaviors. Because I’ve taken over these spaces in my brain and started cleaning them up, the light in my reality is shining brighter. I feel so much better, and my thinking and behaviors are noticeably more positive. I am cleaning up my lawn. And the dreams that I’m encountering are downright awesome. There is so much light that I can see everything with greater detail.
My now brilliantly lit dreams are like going to a completely new reality—a different world, one that isn’t troubled by false narratives painted by the controllers of this one. When I wake, I remember everything. I remember the very small things, like the knob on the door of a silver Rolls-Royce, the exact smell and feel of the leather covering the seats, and even the road that I’m driving—but from the rearview mirror. It’s insanely vivid and downright awesome! I wish everyone could experience what I experience in my dream state. I think that would be amazing.
One More Thing
I do believe that there is one more thing that is positively affecting my new reality-building experience, and that is the physical pressure I've added to my week. Yes, I'm talking about how I work out and treat my body overall. I do eat better, but not in the way most people would probably think about it. I eat clean, but not necessarily "healthy" in that sense. I make my own food—desserts and all. Why? Well, to me, it's fun, and it gives me a break from all of my research and my more academic-style writing. Plus, I don't allow negative energy around what I put into my body as fuel, so I do my best to limit my food's contact with people with troubled minds.
When I speak about taking a break, this means shifting my consciousness just a bit so that a way is cleared for a different stream of information or learning to emerge. I'm not truly taking a break. I don't ever truly need a break from my new reality-building phase because it's such a good place to be. We usually want to move away from things that we don't like or that make us feel uncomfortable. I've become comfortable with being uncomfortable, which is why I can perform workouts that consist of 300+ repetitions per muscle group.
I won't get into the actual workouts or how I do them here, but I will say this: It's working! I feel epic! I feel like I can do anything, and I believe that is reflected in my dream state. It is believed that dreams are the unconscious working through the issues of the conscious mind. That's the simple version, of course. I don't need to go into the details of brain/mind science here. What I've realized from these 300-repetition workouts is that my body is in a constant, dull state of soreness, which seems to be a positive reminder that I've worked my body and mind in balance. I never feel like I've cheated myself in any way.
I think a lot of people are simply cheating themselves out of a wonderful reality because they don't look at their current situation as something that can be changed. They feel locked, even trapped, and what I'm saying—and experiencing—is that the clutches of that trap are being released, making space for the construction of my new reality. I live in a place now where everything feels possible and where it only takes a simple thought shift—small ones—to make life, reality, bend to my will.
How are you making reality bend to your will, and is it bending toward the light or constantly dipping into the darkness?
